Dr. Peter Stepichev, PhD in Pedagogy, teacher trainer and author. His patented tool «Grammar Cube» and a series of board games won the recognition in 2012 Moscow Teacher of the Year contest, resulting in winning a scholarship to study at Norwich (England) and Germany. Dr. Stepichev is an IVLP alumnus and a recipient of American Center grant covering publication of “BVI Grammar Cubes” to provide inclusive and special schools for free. Dr. Stepichev has developed a concept of “Surprise Pedagogy” as an innovative strategy for teaching any subject and is developing methods and tools for ELT in the context of surprise pedagogy. Books and games by Dr. Stepichev are widely available.

Dr. Natalia Komissarova, PhD in Pedagogy, Master in Law, is an Associate Professor of English Philology Department at Russian State Social University, Moscow. She is a leader of innovative projects aimed at refining ESP (Law) curriculum, developing a number of new ESL courses and online components. Dr. Komissarova is also Chair of the National Association of Teachers of English (NATE Russia) Coordination Council. Most recently she has been successfully working with American Center in Moscow as a facilitator of MOOCs. Dr. Komissarova is a recipient of different honors and grants, IV alumna and author of many publications.

Aida Rodomanchenko, PhD, Associate Professor at the FL Department at National Research University Higher School of Economics; member of the federal committee of item writers for the Unified National Exam in English and a Cambridge English Speaking Examiner; member of the NATE Russia coordination board. She is the winner of the IATEFL and Trinity College London Language Examinations Scholarship 2014. Her primary areas of interest include language assessment, intercultural communication and speaking skills development through CLIL and CALL courses.
